"I would first like to express how honored I am to serve as the Principal of Collington Square Elementary Middle School. On behalf of the staff, I am proud to welcome you to the 2017 - 2018 school year! As Principal, my goal is to listen, reflect and strengthen our school community. Most importantly, I want to work with with you, the parents and your children to ensure their success.
Our communication and team work will be the key to a successful school year. Together, we will work to improve our studetn's experience by setting high expections, creating postitive school climate and learning enviroment, and using effective instruction and programs to meet the individual needs of students.
As the begginning of the school year approaches, I am eagerly looking forward to partnering with you as we continue to increase academic achievement for our students. I have been in education for over 10 years. I have primarily taught grades 4-6 in various subject areas. I enjoy each and every day I am in the school, even those days that seem unbearable, because I know deep down I am making a difference somewhere in one of my students' lives. I work hard to produce lessons that are engaging even for my toughest students. I love the "Ah ha" moments that tells me a student "gets it."
