The students  are in need of headphones to help in their listening center.

Mrs. Devivo has students that speak Spanish, French and Bengali.

They have a very high English Language Learner population and since she only speaks English they sometimes struggle to get by. At this time they have 4 regular headphones, but since they are all cramped together in one spot and can't listen to the same book they are not able to help each other with the understanding of what they are reading.

In order to help them learn the language they need to hear a native speaker read to them. Since she has 25 students in that class and their is only 1 teacher, I want to start a listening center. We have many books on audio, and this way they can enjoy books and follow along. With the cordless headphones students can sit at their desk with the book and not be all cramped up in one spot.

These headphones will be a great addition to the  classroom. We are looking to get 4 head phones for the classroom at $25 each for a total of $100.
