Joel earned "Most Dedicated Athlete" this spring for a reason. After logging countless miles, Joel went from the best runner at Desert Edge High School to one of the top distance performers in the entire state. He set the school record in the 1600m at 4:29 and earned "MVP" at the Agua Fria Union District Meet. He was our lone qualifier from the distance team, finishing 12th in the 1600 and 20th in the 3200 at the Div II State Meet. Not only is he a talented, humble athlete, but he's a diligent student and the captain of his cross country team. 

Sending Joel to the 2017 Nike Flagstaff High School Running Camp ($599 per attendee) would be the perfect way to set him up for a successful senior year create ripple effects that will impact the entire team. The camp, which takes place from July 25th-29th, features a week of running at high altitude along with coaching and training advice from professional coaches, Olympic athletes and world-renowned experts in the field. The cost also cover meals, housing and running shoes from Nike. Let’s send him to camp!
