With these funds I will be able to...finally purchase an Upright Bass for our Orchestra. For the past nine years our school Orchestra has played concerts out in the greater Houston community for The Jewish Federation of Houston, Seven Acres Retirement Center as well as the global consulting group Accenture at the Sonesta Hotel. We have never been able to afford an Upright Bass because of budget constraints so I am reaching out to the greater PledgeCents community to help us find a way to buy an Upright Bass for our Orchestra Ensemble. Instruments like these are high dollar items that are not expected to be purchased by a student, yet we have never been able to have enough of a budget to purchase one for our school, and now you can help, because “it takes a village”!
