The Description

With these funds I will...take my Homeroom of 31 eighth grade students to the Mulligan Family Fun Center in Torrance, CA.

My Homeroom students have been working to graduate with all of their required graduation goals - I want to take them somewhere before they leave middle school to celebrate all of their hard work, grow closer as a Homeroom community, and reflect on their middle school career. But the bottom line is...FUN! Work hard, play hard! :)

My school's field trip budget is near $0 at this point in the year and my students will not be able to have their families contribute much of anything to this trip with all of the other financial commitments that come with graduation cap & gown, other school trips, etc.

With a school bus, tickets and allotted budget for snacks/concessions - I estimate the total cost of this field trip to be a little over $1,000. However, I have $242 left over from my two previous PledgeCents fundraisers that I am applying directly to the cost of this trip. So I have changed my goal to $900.

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal I will... use the funds raised to apply to the trip and cover the rest of the expenses out of my own pocket. I really don't want to let this opportunity pass by!
