Think of your fondest memories from elementary school. It probably wasn’t sitting and listening to your teacher talk from the front of the classroom. I am always trying to figure out ways for students to get involved in the learning and up and moving. That is why this year I want to bring Walkabouts to my students.

With Walkabouts I can leverage the research that shows active students actually learn better. Each Walkabouts lesson lasts between 7-10 minutes and ties in critical math, reading, and literacy concepts into an active and engaging lesson. The best part is that every time my students engage in an activity it will be different from the previous one.
