With these funds I will purchase 10 iPads that will assist with visual programs like Gynzy, Storyline Online, and interactive reading games for my ELL students. Each Apple iPad costs around $350. My students are second language learning with minimal English. It is a constant daily struggle assisting their needs with the 8 computers I have in my classroom. Therefore, if I had more technology devices to use in our classroom, they would benefit from the many visual and auditory learning experiences. Also, these students are coming from poor socioeconomic backgrounds that do not provide technology for learning so this would be a huge benefit for their learning opportunities.
