With these funds I will purchase a large bookshelf to hold the library I have in my room.  I have so many books that are spread out around the class and on counter-tops.  I also have text books and work books that need a place.  The book case is built by a high school class and is made of strong, quality wood.  My students are largely English language learners and having a wide variety of books available for them to read anytime is so advantageous for them.  The school has a library but there is usually not time for students to go there ...say if they finish a test early.   Having the books available and organized will make reading that much easier and accessible.
