We All Need To Use Our Words!

The Description
With these funds I will purchase a TeachTown Social Skills Assessments license for my students, so they can learn to "use their words". One of the biggest barriers students with autism face is communication and socialization. This series has a comprehensive approach that appeals to young learners with fun characters my kids already know and love! All of the lessons, episodes, data collection, and curriculum resources are accessed online. The TeachTown Basics program helped my students make huge academic gains through their ABA based strategies and visually appealing presentation. I fully anticipate the social skills curriculum will provide the same success with their communication, self regulation, interactions, and ability to make friends.

Gifts and Suprises!
January 21, 2016
Hello All!
Thank you once again for your generous gifts! Because of you, we reached our funding goal for this project. I called the sales representative for TeachTown, only to learn the school district has purchased the program in the time since I launched the cause. What a surprise! With the funds I was able to purchase a Chromebox,(with accessories) headphones, and much needed adaptive equipment to help my students use our computers and complete the TeachTown lessons. Thank you again for your continued support!
