With these funds I will purchase 20 new uniforms for each member of the LWHS Varsity Co-ed squad.  This is the first year having a male cheerleader, therefore, a uniform is needed and should complement the current ones. The new uniforms will not replace the old ones, but will be an addition to the ones they have had for 4 years. Each team member has only one uniform for all games to wear. Also, the squad will be competing in national area cheer competitions and would need a slimmed style which allows better movement and more of a functional fit, without sacrificing modesty or tradition. And, having a second uniform would allow less wear n' tear. The team has approved the uniform of their choice and the vote was unanimous. Each uniform is approximately $100.
