The Description
With these funds, I will fund our 5th-grade field trip to JaBiztown. "The JA BizTown program provides educators with lessons and resources to effectively integrate financial literacy and work and career readiness into the elementary school classroom. The program supports critical thinking skills and student engagement, and successfully combines in-class learning with a daylong visit to an interactive, simulated community."

If we do not reach our goal I will reach out to more community members to help us raise the money.
About the Creator
I am a fifth-grade teacher in Missouri's public school system. Our students come from diverse backgrounds. Some come to school with a lot weighing on them. I strive to be able to continue to make my classroom a welcoming and safe place for all students to gather.
