With these funds I will buy the everyday goodies that make a class run.  We need crayons and markers for highlighting our answers in texts as we practice close reading.  We need dry erase markers for our whiteboard Wednesday phonics practice so we can do word work.  We need pencils because we are working on our penmanship and writing narrative and how-to essays.  We are starting to run out of supplies and I want to be able to support the needs of my eager 1st graders!
