With these funds I will purchase a classroom set of Google Expeditions! Google Expeditions is a virtual reality teaching tool. According to the Google expeditions website, students will be able to swim with sharks, walk through a museum, and more without leaving the classroom. My goal is to give students an experience that they might not be able to have with this kit. At Sims Middle School, we are constantly trying to raise the level of engagement for all students. We want to show them what is out there for them when they graduate. Giving them opportunities to visit the International Space Station or the RMS Titanic will inspire them to check out the careers associated with those places. Your generous donation will allow all students at SMS to have opportunities to break down the walls and explore the world.
