purchase box sets of "Elephant and Piggie" to use during Guided Reading instruction.  Learning to read is a difficult skill for many students and finding books that are both entertaining and on the appropriate level for first graders is even more difficult.  Elephant and Piggie are adorable characters who do funny things.  These books are highly engaging and not too difficult for beginning readers.

My students are very hard working individuals who strive to succeed.  I want the best for them because they deserve it.
