With these funds I will be able to provide students with the materials they need to create different STEM projects. During these projects, students will be collaborating and problem solving together! 

Experiment Day is a time where students from different grade levels can come together and work through a STEM project. The goal of Experiment Day is to foster collaboration, problem solving, and curiosity in every learner regardless of their age and background. 

Older students will be paired up with younger ones and they will serve as mentors/buddies. 

The timeline for this process is as follows:

Week 1: The 5^th graders will research and decide on a STEM project.  During this time the 5^th graders will fill out the data sheet provided by the teacher.

Week 2 and Week 3 – Gather materials ----- We will send a letter home to all the 5^th and 2^nd grade students to ask for donations and materials.

Sometime during week 4 – EXPERIMENT DAY!!
