With these funds I will be able to nurture a love for literacy through an inspirational environmental setting. Studies show that students tend to work better and stay engaged in lessons when they are stimulated by their environment. Not only will I motivate my students' learning through fun, educational, rigorous lessons, my hope is to also do it through vibrant, artistic, classroom decorations. I plan to purchase inspiring art that depicts student success inside and outside the classroom as well as create a comfortable reading corner that inspires my students to want to read.
