These funds will be used to purchase school supplies for classroom and student use. The School District of Philadelphia is severely underfunded, and to ensure that my students are receiving the best education possible, I need to ensure they have the materials to do so. Each student needs a binder, a divider, 2 notebooks, and 2 pencils to get started. The binder will keep their materials for math and science in one place with the divider in the middle to stay organized between subjects. The notebooks will be used to take down information, work through problems, and keep notes (one for each subject), and each student will need 2 pencils as well.
