With these funds, I would create a proposal that would outline the distribution of all proceeds allocation for the Music Department. The allocation of funds would proceed as follows:

• Workshops and Continuing Education for Teachers (25%)
• Student Enhancement (50%)
• Technology And Materials (25%)

By following the proposed outline, it's my belief that the Music Department will be successful in the 2015-2016 school year. By attending training as a instructor, I will be able to instruct my students incorporating the latest techniques in my classroom through music. My students will be impacted because music can be applied to every subject. Multiplication can be learned through raps and chants. In Language Arts, parts of speech as well as punctuation can be reinforced through songs. Music enhances any lesson and can add mastery. Therefore, the funding will purchase materials such as instruments, sheet music, textbooks, and tickets for field trips. In addition, these funds can also facilitate in house concerts as well as uniforms for the students. Moreover, we will sponsor a Musical Gala.

Given the points enumerated above, my students should be carefully considered for these crucial resources. Why? Chiefly because the students under my instruction come from diverse living environments. For example, some come from homes where the mother or father may have to work double shifts. As a consequence, some students indeed must assist their younger siblings with their homework. For these reasons, at Kipp Liberation we teach them that in spite of obstacles, dreams can still come true. It is my dream that each student is exposed to diverse musical styles. Genres such as classical, jazz, instrumental music will help their appetites and expand their horizons.
