The Description

Children are naturally curious.  One way to stimulate their creative thinking skills and foster their learning is through educational games.  The Osmo game system is a learner-led iPad game system.  This system fosters a child's natural curiosity. By using a camera, interactive blocks and letter tiles, it allows the student to have hands-on interaction with the iPad.  This project will allow the students to use ther problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Most of my students come from a low socio-economic background.  By having these resources I can give these children one more way to help them have a successful educational career.

With these funds I will be purchasing:

1 (one) Osmo Starter Kit for $79.99

1 (one) Osmo Creative Kit for $39.99

There is no shipping.

 

Additionally, with every purchase of a new Osmo system, I can donate another Starter System to another classroom!!

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will put the money towards the purchase of the Osmo system.  I will pay the remaining balance.

About the Creator

I am a Kindergarten teacher in Missouri. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have taught 5th grade, 6th grade and 2nd grade - but Kindergarten fits me best! My students are inquisitive children who learn best by being involved in hands-on experiences. These experiences allow my students to work together collaboratively and expand on their communication and critical thinking skills.
