STEM Classroom Flooring

The Description
With these funds I will purchase foam flooring mats for the STEM classroom located in the basement. I'm hoping to purchase thicker foam mats that cushion the cement floor in addition to preventing slippage.
The STEM class is a very active room that services on average 100 students per day. The floor mats are vital to giving my students a safe place to sit and work. I'm hoping to purchase 40 foam floor tiles. After doing some research, I've decided to purchase from www.greatmats.com. They offer a (5/8 in.) premium foam floor tile. The tiles come many colors as well as a wood grain finish. The cost per mat averages out to about $6-$7 per mat. The variety of colors allow me to organize students into small groups to work together. With these mats, I have the option of arranging students in squares or rows by re-arranging the tiles.
The floor mats we purchased in August are in poor condition. Some are torn or stained. They are also thinner (3/8 in.) than mats I've purchased in prior years. New mats will allow my students to focus on the content covered rather than the condition of the mats on which they are sitting.
Thanks for considering this worthy cause!
Back Up Plan
If I do not meet my goal I will purchase...as many as I can to replace some of the mats.

Final Stretch!
February 3, 2016
After yesterday's success, I'm hoping we can work together to add one more enhancement to the STEM room. The Stand More Clipboard stand would greatly help students independently access clipboards to do their work with me. My current routine of passing out and collecting clipboards probably takes 7 out of a 45 minute class. I'd rather cut that time in half and have students sharing their work and ideas with one another. I need 2, am close to funding one and would really appreciate your help. Small donations will add up to great things for our Sumner Superstars. Thanks for helping!

Funding update...
Well, we exceeded our goal! The next question is: what to purchase w/ the extra funds? I've also been hoping to purchase (2) "Store More" clipboard stands from really good stuff.com. The stands would cost about $90.00 including shipping. Since we are currently about $30 above our goal, this could be accomplished for another $60. Please consider sharing this opportunity to invest in our Sumner STEM room.
Thanks for your interest and support!
Wow, cause funded in one day!

Happy to be part of the Sumner community. Our floor funding goal was achieved (actually exceeded) in one day. This caused me to consider what I would do with the extra funds donated. That's when I spotted my messy clipboards in a milk crate. I remember seeing an organizer for clipboards on reallygoodstuff.com.
I would need (2) to allow students to manage the clipboards independently. This would require an additional $60 for 2 organizers plus shipping. Thanks for all of your support!

Thanks so much for investing in the work I do with these awesome students. We have met and exceeded our goal. With the extra funds, I'm hoping to purchase some storage for the mats when they aren't in use in order to further extend their time in my classroom.
I really appreciate all of you and you generous investment.
