The Description

With these funds I will...l be able to get supplies for all the Reading students. Our students need simple things like binders, dividers, highlighters, pens, sticky notes and note cards. These supplies will help the students so that they can concentrate on their learning and not worried about supplies. Many of my students can’t afford supplies that are needed and have been reusing the same for 3 year. This year I had to get rid of all the binders since they were falling apart and we are out of all the other supplies to hand out next year.

I wanted to take the time to update you on the students supplies.I just asked for the funds and cant wait to be able to use them for all the supplies my students need. It will be such a great feeling to be able to pass them out the first day of school. I am keeping an eye out for all the back to school deals and will post pics as soon as school starts. Thank you again for your donations I could not have done this with out you.

About the Creator

My name is Mrs. Devivo and I teach Reading and dance at a high poverty school. My students are grades 9-12 trying to graduate and make a difference in the world they live in. My dance team is in its 1st year and already we are ready to compete. My day job is teaching Reading. Most of my students are reading below grade level. My job is to get them ready for the state test so that they can graduate high school.
