purchase 8 heart rate monitors for my students to use during Physical Education.  Using heart rate monitors will demonstrate the effect of aerobic exercise of the heart.  They will be able to measure their resting heart rate and then measure their rate after exercise.  We will be able to discuss what a healthy heart rate should be.

With an epidemic of childhood obesity, my students deserve to learn healthy habits early.
