purchase Boogie Boards.  Boogie Boards are digital white boards.  Children can write on them with a stylus and erase them with a press of a button.  Currently, I use dry erase boards which have many small pieces and they are are messy.  Markers run out of ink and erasers get dirty.  Using Boogie Boards will increase instructional time.  We will use them in small groups.  Students will practice letter sounds, handwriting, mathematical concepts, and reading skills.

I will also purchase a Kindle Fire Kid's Edition for my class to use during math instruction.  My students desperately need practice with fact fluency.  Having a Kindle Fire in my room will allow my students more opportunities to practice their math facts.  Additionally, Kindle will increase student motivation

My students are hard working and they deserve the best possible learning environment!
