The Description
\"Boys to MEN" is a program designed to help KEA boys ages 5-10 improve social intelligence, social interaction, and leadership skills. This program consists of several sessions, each concentrated on a specific aspect of character and manhood through highly interactive activities. The program includes service projects where boys learn the importance of giving back to the community, “community service”.
This program reinforces character, leadership and positive behavior; I believe with structured programs that target specific behavior will help correct/adjust that behavior and growth in leadership and good choices will began to develop. The "Boys to MEN" program is a vital to the development of our young boys and this is the perfect age to positively influence character and enhance leadership skills. This is a targeted effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior.
KEA Girls' Club will be a special place for girls to learn about positive self-esteem, to develop life skills, and to be empowered to be leaders. Girls will have opportunities to express their feelings and opinions, ask questions, share stories and experiences, learn new things, challenge themselves, and discuss issues about growing up as a female in our society today. Topics throughout the year will include: effective communication, empathy, growth mindset, healthy relationships and self-esteem. Girls will meet each month with invested female adults who will facilitate dialogue, activities and new experience to grow and challenge our girls in all these areas. Funds to support Girls' Club will enable for our girls to experience off-site trips to various workplaces where they will learn about women in leadership and see that they too have the potential to aspire for careers in all kinds of fields. Also, Girls' Club is seeking funds to support off-site trips to local community center where they will serve and learn what it means to love, give and walk alongside people who have various needs. Girls' Club will strive to develop well-rounded, empathetic, and powerful girls who are confident in their identity in our world and care for the well-being of all people in our society!
A total of 62 students, it's only $32.25 to help change a students future. Therefore, please assist in our efforts to raise the total amount of $2,000 to support both KEA programs. These funds will be used on transportation for our community service ventures: visiting the Children's Hospital, feeding the homeless, and many more . . . .
Please join me launch this new program and help our KEA boys and girls be the change that we know they can be! Help us make a difference and have some fun along the way.
Back Up Plan
Again the funds will be used for travel during our community service ventures:
However, If we do not meet our goal, we will reduce the number of community service projects that requrie travel and increase the number of guest speakers to promote character, leadership, and positive behavior.
