The Description

With these funds we will take our girls, for the first time in our history, to our Nation's Capital, Washington, D.C.! We will visit some of the many Museums and Historic Monuments Washington has to offer. Funds will cover transportation, lodging and meals for our 4-day, 3-night End of the Year Field Trip!

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal, not all of our girls would be able to go on this trip. Our back up plan would include continuing and increasing our fundraising activities in the Spring.

I am an 8th Grade English Teacher at the only all-girls KIPP School in Houston. Our team got into this work to provide equitable and exciting education to our future by empowering them to take on the world. We'd love to see them do that by taking a Voyage to Washington.
