"Standing desks give students the opportunity to move, be more focused and comfortable. When you achieve this, you automatically have students learning more. The AlphaBetter Desk and Footrest Bar ('fidget bar') contribute to an Active Classroom environment, allowing students to stand and move, helping to burn excess energy, calories and potentially helping them focus. It also allows students to naturally fidget with the aptly-named 'fidget bar', providing movement they may no longer get during physical education classes, recess or at home. This Is a great tool for my students who are easily distracted or bored sitting in a chair. This stand-up desk will help improve my classroom by reducing inappropriate behaviors (ex.
