With these funds I will be purchasing a set of 10 TI-Nspire graphing calculators for our classroom.  With these calculators, I can give my students hands-on practice and instruction on how to use the many advanced settings and functions.

My urban classroom is made up of a diverse set of backgrounds and needs. We are a Project Based Learning Program within a larger urban school district.  Our students are higher achieving students who are college bound and motivated to learn.  Unfortunately, we do no have the funds to obtain the technology that is required to learn and grow in a way that supports the scores that could be achieved on the NWEA, ACT and SAT.  With these calculators, students will be able to realize their potential.

It is unrealistic to ask every student to buy their own calculator. We are 100% Free-Reduced lunch school and can't afford their own.  I am looking to purchase 10 calculators ($135.91 each) from EAI Education.  The total for 10 Calculators including taxes and fees would be $1,359.10.
