With these funds I will... create a welcoming, inspiring space for my students to explore literature. We will be doing several novel studies in our classroom this year. These funds will be used to buy quality high-interest books for students, as well as bean bag chairs and a rug for students to read more comfortably on. When students are excited about and comfortable in their enviroment they tend to function far more productively. I believe that for students to be life-long learners and leaders they must develop an enjoyment of reading early on. I can't wait to set up this safe space for my students to dive into literature.
