With these funds, I will purchase kid-friendly science equipment for my special education classroom. This school year I have 4 students who have significant special needs. At this time, my students are unable to access the general education environment for academics. They have the privilege of having me teach them literacy, mathematics, science, social studies and life skills each and every day. (LUCKY THEM!) We are in need of science equipment such as magnifying glasses, magnets, and scales so we are able to discover the world around us as scientists! The science equipment will also be used across content levels.
