With these funds I will...be able to purchase much needed uniforms  for the girls varsity soccer team.  Many of the girls do not play travel soccer, for some this team is the only opportunity for them to participate in an organized sport. The cost of the uniforms is approximately $50 per student. I am looking to purchase 20 student uniforms.  They will have both a home (white) and an away (maroon) uniform.  The girls currently have some uniforms but they are worn out.  The girls have had the same uniforms for the past 4-5 years. The JV uniforms are in the worst shape.  The plan is to purchase new uniforms for Varsity and pass the current Varsity uniforms down to JV.  We are a Title I school so, many of our students come from a low-income households.  Yet, we compete against teams from more affluent areas and their uniforms always look great.  If the players look more professional it will improve our team spirit.  We plan to keep these uniforms for as long as possible, hopefully 5+ years.  We received a quote from Striker Soccer Supply to purchase Nike uniforms - http://www.authenticsoccer.com/.
