The Description

Thank you for your interest in MacArthur Model United Nation's Road to Model United Nations San Antonio!  MUNSA is one of the largest high school MUN conferences in the United States.  Through fundraising and dues collection, our organization has earned over $550 of the $1,200 required to register for the conference.  We need your help to reach the finish line.  Money raised through this drive will help to pay for 16 students ($34.38 per student) to experience what it takes to be a world leader navigating some of the world's most challenging problems.  Students who participate in such events forever have their world-view changed.  By giving during this event, you will help develop a new generation of global citizens able to understand and respond to international challenges and events.

We will continue to look for sources of funding for Model United Nations throughout the year, and are thankful for all who help us reach our destination.

MacArthur Model United Nations wants to thank all who invested in our  journey towards Model United Nations San Antonio.  The funds raised through this effort along with other student-run fundraisers has helped us fully pay for the fees associated with MUNSA.  Our delegates are now hard at work developing position papers in preparation for their conference committee experiences.  We will continue to update you on our progress towards MUNSA and will post pictures from the event, scheduled for January 4-6 2017.  Thank you all again for your generosity and support.

Thank you to all who have contributed to MacArthur's Road to MUNSA! We are half way through the challenge, and have only $300 to go.  Please spread the word and help us reach our goal of $750 by November 17th.  Again, we truly appreciate all of those who have supported us so far, and will continue to provide updates as we prepare for Model United Nations San Antonio.

Hello! I am a veteran teacher of 15 years and am currently teaching Geography and cosponsoring MacArthur High School's Model United Nations club in San Antonio, Texas.

I have been energized the last three years by the eye-opening experience students have working with Model United Nations, and our hard work paid off last year with a first place showing at Model United Nations San Antonio
