purchase a document camera.  With the document camera, I will be able to show pages from books to the entire class on my Smarboard.  Doing this will allow me to point out and underline main text points.  It will also make teaching more efficient because instead of verbally telling students about the page I'm on and the sentence I want us to focus on, I will be to show them visually.  Wasted time in the classroom will also decrease.  I will also be able to use the document camera to edit and revise a piece of writing in front of the class.   Oftentimes, students need an example of proper editing technique.  Using a document camera will allow me to demonstrate correct editing marks to the class.

My students are hard working and they deserve the best.  I want to provide the best educational opportunities to them I can.
