The Description

With these funds I will, you will be contributing to our after school program. I want to open up a Ballet Folklorico Club after school. My school is a Title I school and our students need support in providing them with these items. You will be helping purchase clothing items and accessories. These items will remain at our school, which means that we will be reusing them throughout the years. We will be offering this after school program to students from TK-2nd grade and they will each be doing their own performance. This means they each will need different items based on the region that they are dancing from. Students will need the following:

Ballet Folklorico Skirts

Ballet Folklorico Blouses

Sombreros

Shoes

Accessories (bows, bow ties, scarfs, etc.)

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal I will purchase, most of the essential items. I would especially focus on buying the skirts and sombreros. This will help at least form the main costume for my students.

My name is Jaqueline Vargas and I am a 2nd grade teacher. I teach in a Spanish Dual Immersion classroom. My school is located in low socioeconomic area, in which I deeply connect with because I came from a community similar to where I teach.
