With these funds I will purchase two BreakoutEDU kits priced at $89 each for my two classes of math and social studies fourth grade students. This classroom resource brings so much INTERACTION and INTRIGUE to the day's lesson because the LEARNING and PROBLEM-SOLVING occurs within an ADVENTURE! My math students are required to learn significant amount of skills each school year and are assessed based on their ability to solve multi-step word problems and scenarios. They must understand how to CONNECT DETAILS and LOGICALLY REASON through the facts to determine the appropriate method to find a successful solution. My social studies students learn many facts about history and the people who made it, but must also recognize the RELATIONSHIP OF EVENTS and CAUSE/EFFECT connection. This resource will provide my students with the necessary tools and conditions for them to develop, exercise, and sharpen their reasoning like no worksheet ever can!
