The Description

The MORE you that you READ, the more THINGS you know. The MORE you KNOW. The MORE you LEARN, the more PLACES you'll GO. ~ Dr. Suess

With these funds I will buy books to teach students in my class about global issues that exist in the world today. I use picture books to teach concepts and then we will connect others around the world through Skype, Google Docs, etc. to learn from them face-to-face how they overcome these issues. We will be connecting with classes all over the world this year to hear from other students how we can solve and make the world a better place. Having these books would allow me and other teachers at my school to introduce global issues that students need to be aware of as they grow up and live as citizens of the world today.
