The Description
With these funds the teachers of our summer program will be able to purchase art supplies, project supplies, and snacks for their summer program students. We will also use the funds to help pay for transportation to the few field trips we will be taking. These funds will help our summer program students have a well-rounded, engaging experience as they are will us for the month of June. Our school is in a low socio-economic status area and is a Title 1 school. The program is being offered for free for these students, and breakfast and lunch will also be provided.

If I do not meet my goal I will either...
divide the funds up between the teachers who are working the summer program so that they can buy supplies and snacks for their students,
OR
use the money to pay for the cost of transportation for field trips.

Thank you everyone who helped contribute to our Warrior Summer Program! We are now in our third week of the program and the kids are loving it. They are having so much fun getting to participate in things like drama, Hawaiian Studies, and P.E. everyday. They even have learned to do some sewing with a sewing machine! We are going on our first field trip this Friday, and before the end of the program the kids will even get a chance to learn some fire dancing!
