The Description
With these funds my students will be able to use technology to facilitate learning. I would be able to purchase several games, through Teachers Pay Teachers, that use QR codes to strengthen academic skills. My class would be able to work on their number sense, addition, sight words, and reading skills by scanning a QR code on our classroom iPads. This will allow my students to integrate more technology into their learning. I would also purchase headphones (5) for our iPads. The headphones will allow students to work without disrupting others who are working independently. I would also like to purchase an iTunes gift card to add educational apps to our classroom iPads. My students will be able to reinforce the classroom lessons with apps that focus on letters, reading, handwriting, and math. I would also purchase a stylus pen for my students to use on the iPad. This will help students to manipulate the activities better and strengthen fine motor skills too.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will look into classroom direct. I hope students are easy with these supplies and they last at least a few years before needing replaced. :)

I'm a kinder teacher in Dallas, TX. I jut wanted to let you know that if you purchase the animal headphones through classroom direct or school specialty, they are much cheaper! Use the extra money towards something else :) Also be aware that while they are good headphones for kinder kiddos, they are subject to wear and tear. I have the issue that if the kids are not careful, the cord can be pulled out of the volume control thing attached to the cord, so be careful! Good luck :)
