My name is Megan Blick and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Cummings Elementary in Alief ISD, Houston, Texas. Cummings Elementary is a Title 1 school which means that my students live below or at poverty level and receive free breakfast and lunch.

Higher education is taken very seriously in Alief ISD. For example, students and staff are encouraged to wear a college t-shirt every Wednesday to school. I have wonderful memories of my college experience at Texas A&M University. Therefore, I am a huge advocate for spreading the Aggie Spirit to my students at an early age.

Last year, I was very fortunate to have a donor donate 24 Youth Texas A&M University shirts to my class. The day that the donor dropped off the shirts in my class my students were absolutely ecstatic. They were bit with the Aggie bug! They wore their shirts with pride every Wednesday. We were a sight to be seen going to lunch, recess and electives. It was almost like a Maroon Out football game! 

However, in keeping with the tradition I need another class set of shirts for my incoming Kindergarten class. The cost of this project is $175.00. Make a difference and help me provide Texas A&M shirts for my class. We are college bound!
