This coming fall, I will be teaching Bilingual (Spanish) Kindergarten at Moss Elementary School in Fort Worth, TX. I want to create meaningful classroom experiences for my students and provide them with the basic supplies needed to help them succeed academically. Because of the shortage of resources, I will likely be given little to no funding to purchase start-up supplies for my kids.
The lack of economic resources is already a struggle in the community that I will be working in, and I don't want that to continue to be the case in the classroom. I've started this PledgeCents fundraiser to see if I could get some support from my community. I want to make the classroom an enriching space for my students and I would appreciate any support. Unfortunately, I do not have enough of my own resources to afford all my necessary supplies for my kids which is why I'm reaching out.
