With these funds I will purchase 20 new uniforms for each member of the LWHS Varsity Co-ed squad.  This is the first year having a male cheerleader, therefore, a new uniform is needed and should complement the current one. The new uniforms will not replace the current uniform, but will be an addition to the one they have had for 6 years. Each team member has only one uniform to wear throughout the week. Also, the squad will be competing in several national area cheer competitions and would need a slimmed style which allows better movement and more of a functional fit, without sacrificing modesty or tradition. And, having a second uniform would allow less wear n' tear. The team has approved the uniform of their choice and the vote was unanimous. Each uniform is approximately $200.
