With these funds I will purchase BOOKS for my 10th grade English classroom at Ruleville Central High School in the Mississippi Delta!

These books will be for the classroom's growing independent reading library and a class set of books we can read together.The more funds I raise, the more books my students have at their disposal!

These books are culturally relevant, multicultural, and suited for the young adults who will be reading them. There is a range of books to accommodate the range of reading levels in the class.

The class set of books will most likely be Fences by August Wilson.

A small portion of the funds will go toward classroom supplies that would otherwise be out-of-pocket expenses including paper (chart and poster paper, printer paper, lined paper), pencils, pens, highlighters, erasers, and post-it notes.
