With these funds I will get writing supplies to support their writing.  My kindergarten students are just starting the writing process and need many visuals and tools along the way to be confident writers. The spacemen will help my students to remember to leave spaces between words and sentences.  Word journals will help with letter sound recognition and writing.  The tactile letters will allow my students to learn the correct letter formation.  The dry erase markers and erasers will provide my students with different forms of writing material to practice with. Having these different tools to encourage writing will boost my students’ self-esteem in writing. My class deserves these resources to help build a strong educational base. Kindergarten is the beginning step in each child’s education.
