A Colored Printer for Young Artists!

The Description

With these funds we will be able to teach our art students about 2D design and print the images they have created. The printer will also be used in order to print out texts created for the students to study art history, as we have no textbooks for our classroom. The art students would have more opportunity to manipulate images and use their own photographs to enhance their drawing skills as well. It would also be wonderful to be able to create more signage for the studio, print out our vocabulary words and keep students up to date on what is currently happening in the art world. We also take part in several competitions and this printer would allow us easier access to the paperwork we need printed for those competitions. Any extra money will go to purchasing toner/ink for the printer and copy paper, as there is only a certain amount supplied by our school. Any extra funds will also go toward much needed supplies in our classroom! Thank you!

Here is an example of student art work that could benefit from the printer. This student had to pay to have the photograph she used for this drawing printed, but if we had this printer she could print for free!

Back Up Plan

If we don't reach our entire goal we will still plan on putting whatever funds are raised toward a printer, as it is one of the most important things for our art studio at the moment. If we are able to purchase the printer, toner/ink and copy paper with the funds we raise and have extra, those funds will go to supllying our classroom with more art supplies such as paint brushes, fine point markers, pencils and erasers.
