With these funds I will buy 3 Apple iPads with wifi to be shared among 20 resource students. I will be using these iPads for many different activities that will enhance my student's reading and writing abilities. I am looking forward to the projects and books my children can create with apps such as Adobe Reader and Book Creator for iPad. These apps have word to text features that are invaluable to some of my students that are reluctant writers. We can use these apps to unlock the great stories and ideas that are begging to be released. 

There are also wonderful reading apps, such as Reading A to Z that can be used at the child's reading level and at their own pace to supplement their reading instruction in the classroom. There are so many possibilities available on line and through these apps.

Access to this technology is one more tool in my toolbox.

Working in the Special Education arena is becoming more and more challenging, as our funding is being cut yearly.
