With these funds I will purchase nonfiction leveled text for my special education students who have a hard time reading from Scholastic.com.  These books will provide my students with new material to read at their reading level.  This will have an impact on their increasing literacy skills in reading and improving their reading levels.  My students have various disabilities.  New titles and topics motivate the students to read more and enjoy reading.   My students have reading deficits, so I try very hard to have interesting books in my classroom for them to read.  My students especially like nonfiction text because they like to learn about new and different things, such as animals, science, etc.  My students deserve new resources to help improve their skills, but our funds for new materials is very limited so this would help us greatly.  Help my students get new books!!!!!
