The Description
"Every student deserves the best that is out there....I just need help providing it for them."
With these funds I will purchase 10 Apple IPad 2 Mini’s and protective cases for my classroom. This money will mainly impact my students. With the IPad’s the students will be able to complete active research and complete an interactive math supplemental program right in the classroom. We always have an issue getting a free lab at our school due to a large number of students and technical issues. This will give them the opportunity to also foster their learning in English Language Arts. We just adopted a new reading series and most of the instruction is online/internet based. Although, you can use textbooks, with the continued growth of technology within the students’ future, I feel it is significant to use as much technology as possible to enhance their learning. The students will also be able to be more active in the Fuel Up to Play 60 Program, in which I am the program advisor at our school. This is a physical activity and nutrition program through the NFL and Dairy Associations. With this program the students need to complete activities and track their eating and activity. Our current computers in our lab will not support the program. The program will work on IPads and will give more students the opportunity to track and watch their progress, if we receive the funding.
I feel that my class deserves these items because they live in a low socio-economic area and many of the students do not have access to computers or internet in general. If I could provide them with the most up-to-date technology devices, I believe that they will be able to strive and succeed in all future endeavors that they encounter.

Back Up Plan
If I do not meet my goal I will purchase as many Ipad's as possible for my classroom. With the remaining money, if there is not enough for an additional Ipad, I will supply my students with materials they can use within the classroom on an everyday basis.
For example: Construction paper, glue sticks, crayons, pencils, etc.
