With these funds I will purchase textbooks for my environmental science classes. The textbooks my school has were purchased more than 10 years ago and 90% of them are in very bad condition. Even so, there are not enough copies to issue to every student. Unfortunately, the school doesn't have the funds, or budget, to purchase textbooks in the near future. Amazon offers used Holt Environmental Science textbooks ($6.99 each) of the early version with costs as low as only a few dollars. Currently I have 75 students and I would like to purchase enough for every student. I'm asking for $500 to purchase as many textbooks as possible.
