With these funds I will be able to purchase various art supplies and art storage for my kindergarten students. My students are between the ages of 5-6 and attend school in the San Francisco Bay area. Many of my students are English- Language learners and many of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at our school. Many of my students do not have the materials they need to be successful outside of school. I provide the majority of the supplies on my own for students in and outside of the classroom. They are extremely vibrant and eager to learn each day. They are extremely hands on and to the best when they can create something to represent their thinking.

This money will directly impact myself and my students in many ways. First, it will allow me to purchase much needed art supplies for my students. I want to get a art supply organizer that is easily accessible to my students to put various craft materials in, such as the one below:

I would also like to get various arts and crafts materials for my students. With these materials (links below) my students will have endless opportunities to be creative in the classroom. We use art to show our thinking at the end of all our units of study and simply as a way for the students to express themselves.
