The Description
With these funds I will...
The purpose of this fieldtrip to the Los Angeles Science Center, is to give our students with Autism the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with the subject they connect to the most: Science (solar system, dinosaurs, rocks, etc). Each child will be able to interact with the exhibits and visually experience the wonders of are world. Many of the children do not have the opportunity to visit other places due to their disability. We have been preparing for this trip and discussing the different aspects of what we will be seeing as well as working on needed functional and behavior skill. Our students are excited as well as the parents. We do take one parent per child. What a wonderful opportunity for parent and child to spend a day and bond without interruptions..
The funds for this trip will cover the cost of chartering The Orange Belt Bus ($2,510); T-shirts for each child and staffs ($400), $10 per each student to buy a souvenir ($450); and lunch for each child ($450).
We want this to be a great experience for our students..
I thank you for your donations.
Any size donation is appreciated..
Back Up Plan
I have faith that we will meet our goal, but if not, we will take our students to our small Science Museum in our town.
