Hello Friends and Family!

This past Tuesday, I finished up Teach for America's extensive, 6-week summer training program in Mississippi, known as Institute. This means that in the fall, I will be responsible for my very own middle school science classroom in El Dorado, Arkansas! Words can't describe how excited I am for the new experiences and oppurtunites to be had and I can't wait to decorate my room and meet my students.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest hurdles that students in high need schools face is a lack of the necessary materials that are needed daily to foster a safe and positive learning environment. It makes it infinitely more difficult for students to take part in activities and classwork when they do not have basic supplies.

To offset this disparity, I plan on using all funds raised through PledgeCents to buy items such as pencils, binders, lab materials, and any other materials needed to maintain a clean, inclusive classroom.

Every dollar received will go towards supplies so any contribution really will make a difference for my first year. Thank you so much in advance for supporting me and my students at the beginning of this exciting journey!
